A Farmgirl's take on things

Feb. 5, 2008 - time for fun!

Alrighty it's time for a fun up-date on my rather small social life!

My social life is basically this; Quizzing, Home-school group, and sort of youth group.

As for Quizzing we are currently working on Philippians 2-4 for our next quiz, and our special quiz last month went great! I loved being on the Upper Division team for a little while, and I actually got to answer one question!!! Of course it was because my pad accidentally went off so I didn't have a clue what the answer was so I took my best shot at it and the answer wasn’t near what I said so it was counted incorrect, but my team still took 3rd place!! And our N.D. got 1st place!! We were sooooo thrilled!

And today my home-school group met for the first time since December!  We had lots of fun; our science class was on Volcanoes, that went very well! And our Art class was on Sweden, so we made cookie stamps, which are traditionally given by the Groom to his Fiancée, so Mrs. D. told all the guys after class to not give away their stamps to any girls right now or their moms may not be very happy. Of course everyone laughed when she said that!!!! For Explorations classes we played Charades! Wow was that fun some of the things we acted out were; a Football coach yelling @ a player (that one was really good!), and space shuttle take-off, and working @ D.Q. . Some that my friend and I had to act out were; Whitewater rafting, planting a garden, and my favorite (or not) Birds building a nest!

so far that's all for now! Thanks for taking the time to read this!!! See you soon!

I wish I did Bible quizzing. Thought about it once but couldn't cuz I needed to work at Radio Shack.
And of course you should join our 4-H club!
That would be really neat!
We're doing curling this month would love to have you!

Well, you're busy I see. And Book 4 is already written and at the publisher's. Thankfully. This will be a good one, I think, because I felt the hand of the Lord prompting me throughout the writing. That's never happened before! (The first 3 books I just wrote for "fun" years ago.

Say, does the template (blog) at Andi's Stories (the new blog--click on the graphic of the schoolhouse) look messed up to you? Amy says it's all messed up, but it looks just fine when I look at it. Please tell me if you think it looks OK.
