We finished week one of school Friday.  This week was just great!  I pray that each week just becomes better and better and pulls our family more toward God each day!

This week we started off with the letter/sound Aa, the number 0, the colors Blue/Red, Same/Different & Big/Little Opposites, and the Circle.  Some of this Little Monkey already new, some of it he had to learn.  He know recognizes the number 0, getting the concept of nothing though will probably be a skill he will get in K5.  He can pick out a Big A and a small a, and if you point it out and ask for it's long sound or short sound he will tell you!  The shape and colors he has already mastered, but they were just a "refresher" and something familiar to start out with!  Little Monkey did very well on his opposites and now goes around telling us about everything that is little or BIG and if something is the same or different.  It is such a blessing!  He is really getting the Pledge of Allegiance down as well and his Memory Verse is sounding pretty good too!  He even has the Days of Creation down pretty well!   Makes a Mama's heart melt seeing her little one learning about Jesus!

Daddy was also proud of Little Monkey and kept up with his progress through out the week and encouraged him to keep doing a good job!  This makes Little Monkey happy!  Little Monkey really enjoys emailing Daddy about his day at "school"!
