Base Chapel

This morning we tried the Base Chapel.  Our Marine wanted to see what it was like, as we have never tried the Chapel here on this base.  It wasn’t a regular Sunday for them; they were having their Christmas Service/Party at the base Log Cabin.  All was looking fine until we met the Chaplin.  We met the Chaplin before we even got in the building and we both looked at each other knowing that this wasn’t the place for our family.  The Chaplin here is a female and as a family we feel that it isn’t Biblically correct for a woman to teach/preach to anyone but other women and children, never to a man. (Titus 2)  She was a lovely woman and a joy to be around, but even seeing her interact with her husband we could see that she wasn’t submissive to him.  We really like and feel led to be at the church we have been attending since coming back to SC so that is where you will find us next Sunday morning and all other Sundays ‘til Our Humble Lordship feels other wise led! ;)
