A topic that has come up to me and been on my heart a lot lately is about vaccines and our babies/ children. Should we really be giving them these vaccines and what are they really doing to our little ones?
So I was wondering if there was anyone out there that would like to share, without being judgemental about the other side, about why they DO or DON'T vaccine their children!?
I really want to know what others do and have found and I want you to feel free to post your comments. Know that any comment bashing someone with different beliefs than yourself will be deleted!

BUT... then when our 4th child was born it was different. I had started hearing about people that didn't vaccinate (while I was pregnant) and all of a sudden KNEW God was speaking to our hearts. It was just WAY to obvious!
By the time she was born, we still we not sure about what to do, so she got her Hep.B shot in the hospital. (you know...the one for sexually transmitted diseases!! UGH) Over the next couple months we talked about options and read up on pros and cons of non-vaccinating but STILL had fears.
Time came for her 2 month "vaccine" appt. and I was all ready with a babysitter for the other kids and was heading out the door when the phone rang. It was my friend, Summer, and she called to say that the homeschool field trip had been rescheduled for THAT day and wondered if I could go. I told her I couldn't because of my baby's 2 month check-up and she said "oh...is she getting vaccines?" I said "yes" and she said "have you ever thought of NOT vaccinating?" I felt the blood rush through my body and I said "as a matter of fact, yes, and we've been struggling as to what to do." She told me a bit about her decision to not vaccinate after also vaccinating many of her other children and she said "just don't do it today and pray about it before you decide". She didn't realize I HAD been praying about it...and SHE was the answer to my prayer!!!!
I went to the appt. and the nurse said "these are the FOUR shots she will be getting" and I felt sick!!! All of a sudden it dawned on me that all those years I had been letting people pump tons of awful stuff into my babies bodies at one time!!! I said "we have decided not to vaccinate today" and you should have seen her face!!!!!!! And let me tell you... for the 1st time in YEARS at that pediatricians (where we DON'T go now)... the doctors NEVER spent any time with me like they did THAT day trying to scare me into vaccinating!! I stood firm and said that my husband told me not to vaccinate her and I had to obey him. (LOVE that one! It was true except he didn't demand it... we both agreed...haha)
It has been over 3 years now. My daughter never had another shot after her hospital vaccination, and my son (who turns 2 next week) has never had even ONE!!!! The fear is completely gone and they both are healthy as horses and have never had any issues!!! And I hardly ever go to a doctor with them. ONLY for an occasion check-up or for a REALLY good reason!! AND we switched to a family practice where they are just so awesome!!
God is so good!!! He is our healer and our protector!! I will never allow anyone to ever put anything into my babies bodies that could harm them in any way! I know way too many autistic children that it has been obvious the signs started AFTER vaccines and not before!
If for some reason they needed vaccines as they matured (like for the service or something), that would be different, or if God led us into vaccinating for other reasons (like missions or something like that) but for now I could not imagine it. ESPECIALLY a baby under the age of at least 2!!!
Hope I've helped. I don't ever tell anyone they are horrid for vaccinating...I just tell there where God has led us and our convictions.
