So I have a cousin that lives in Maryland...about 100 miles from me.  She's actually a First Cousin Once Removed.  :)

I haven't seen her in ages and I'm excited to have connected with her.  We grew up in Southern California and she's a year older than me.  Her mom is actually my first cousin and her grandparents are my aunt and uncle. Well, my aunt and uncle and my cousins are visiting the cousin in Maryland!  So I get to see all of them today.  It'll be great.  The last family I got to see from California was my mom and dad back in May.  I miss my family.  :)
