Here's something you might enjoy (dunno if it's true or not) just in case you're having a bad day: Iraqi terrorist, Khay Rahnajet, didn't pay enough postage on a letter bomb. It came back with "return to sender" stamped on it. Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits.

=) People are stupid. ^_^

Apr. 10, 2007 - first of all luck...

Posted by Favorite Sister Alexandra
STOP CALLING ME ALEX!!! if you continue i shall have to...to...(i'm sorry. i'm in my abbie keeler mood. i'm overly nice.) just stop.
and secondly, madeline is on her way home this very minute, with me having not gotten around to telling her yet. so she will read the e-mail first.
and thirdly...*cough* *ahem* my grandparents and abigail are playing yahtzee. and abigail has just scored her *cough* what was it? HER 8TH YAHTZEE IN A ROW TONIGHT?!? how in the world does THAT happen!?! she claims "good luck". HA!
oh yeah! and as if that wasn't bad enough...they were all adding up their points:
"okay...bottom row, i got 152."
"i got 137."
"okay grandma. how about you abigail?"
"375!!"
"O_o really..."
needless to say, pap-pap had to check her addition.
"let's see...5 and 6 is 11. 11 and 1 is 12. 12 and 40 is 52..." etc. he ended up at,"and 150 and 10 is 160. there's your score!"
abigail looked a little shocked. or was it disappointed? we all laughed. i guess she felt she had to defend herself. so she blurted out,"it wasn't my fault! it was the saxons!!"
we all stopped laughing and kinda looked like this: O_o
there was a long explanation that followed that i was too busy rolling on the floor laughing to listen to. if you really want to know...ask her yourself. :P

oh boy. so much for "in a nice mood" :P

probably the saxons who took out the bretons and were taken out by the normans. she's weird that way. :P
and luck, you're not so lost. you really wouldn't be able to understand us in real life. we're weird that way. :P
oh dear. at grandma's house madeline and i stayed up ALL NIGHT!! no kidding. we only went to bed at five in the morning because pap-pap gets up early, and he would probably scold us or something. i suppose we must have slept a little. then we woke up at seven, but got up at eight.
and now for your daily doseing of alexandra's ranting. subject today: a silly author's misspelling of the word "stayed". i have to read this one book for school. and the author is really annoying me!! he keeps saying "staid" instead of "stayed" (and yes. i do know "staid" is a real word. but it's an adjective. and this guy keeps using it in verb form!) it'll be like this: "well the romans couldn't cross into the gaul's territory. so they staid in rome." it gets annoying after a while!
(okay, i'll have to end this comment. for one it's too long, and for another delilah is on, and i can't concentrate.)
so i'll leave you with this thought, i could never be macgyver. for a whole lot of reasons, but the one i'm thinking of is that in almost each of his macgyverisms he uses his pocket knife. and i'm not allowed with one. :P
that's all.

i think i saw your imaginary friends today at the library. they were playing a video game and i didn't see their faces but the backs of their heads looked like joni's and samwise's.
in other news...eomer was being quite rude to boromir. he beheaded him!! so i tried to put it back in place, but being in lack of duct tape, electical tape and even super glue, i had to try to use silly putty and a lego town toilet plunger. don't ask. i finaly got some regular tape. so i gave boromir back to eomer and told them to play nicely. well, no sooner did i turn my back then i hear a dreadful scream..."boromir beheaded eomer!!" smoke coming out of my ears, i went back into the room, snatched his head and decapitated body, and, grumbling, went back upstairds. to my relief i found that it was just the kind of decapitation that you pop it back into place like an arm. so i did. i returned eomer, gave a stern talking to the both of them and told them that the next body part that comes off i'm going to throw into the trash!! i went upstairs for a much needed nap. just as i was drifting off, i heard feet pounding up the stairs and someone screaming "no! don't tell alexandra!! remember what she said? she'll throw it in the trash!!" i was much exasperated. so when they burst in i pulled the old "pretend-you're-asleep" trick. they left me in peace. but when i came back down i was in a better mood. i was feeling generous so i decided to call forth the unfourtunate soul, whoever it might be. it happened to be eomer, and his leg was disjointed. no big deal. it happens all the time. easy to fix. i tell the boys not to rough house, but you know they don't listen. so they brought forth eomer. but there was no leg. when i asked where it was, they replied they didn't know, and they sure hoped it wasn't in the trash. i rolled my eyes. some helpful person went upstairs to look for it. she came back, leg in hand but with a sad look on her face. "i found the leg as you can see, but sad to say, frodo had it. he wants a ransom. you owe him money." i sighed. "how much?" i asked tiredly. "as much as the ransom says!" she replied. i didn't dare ask how much that was.

well it appears i'm being dragged off the computer literally. goodbye.......!!

but it's highly unlikely. because even if they did happen to be in grove city, and they did happen to be in the library, i doubt they would be playing video games!!

we were playing lord of the rings this morning. here are some quotes and scenes from our adventures:

arwen: "daddy, do i have to go across the sea? you know how i always get seasick..."

haldir: "look at this really cool bow i got!"
galadriel: "i know. i gave it to you! i always give bows to really hot elves!"
arwen: "wait...."
galadriel: O_O *snatches bow off of haldir and gives it to legolas in the movie*

haldir: *points bow at glorifindel*
glorifindel: *goes screaming in the other direction*

arwen: "so has anyone seen aragorn?"
galadriel: "oh. dear. i flushed him down the drains this morning. i thought he was a rat!"
arwen: O_O *goes crying in the other direction*

(after a peticularily WILD game where elves were screaming and whooping and getting out of control) :
galadriel: "elrond go to my room, arwen go to your room, enya go to haldir's room, haldir stay in the hallway and glorifindel..."
glorifindel: *smiles inocently*
galadriel: "ugh...go to the bathroom."

haldir: *returns from outside*
galadriel: "where were you?!"
haldir: "getting my bow."
galadriel: "YOU LEFT YOUR BOW OUTSIDE!?!"
haldir: "well, i was using it last night, but i didn't have time to put it away...you called me in for waffles, remember?"

elrond: "glorifindel! we found a spider for you!!"
glorifindel: "EEEEK!!!"
arwen: "daddy! stop teasing him! that dosn't even LOOK like a spider! come here glorifindel. look, it's not a spider, it's a...EEEEK!! IT'S A SPIDER!!"

well, that's all for today. i have to go do school. many happy returns of the day!

I'm back. Well, not technically. I'm actually staying at my friend's house today, but it's in the same general vicinity as home. So yeah, you could say I'm back.

Regionals was pretty awesome. Except for the fact that I got a nasty cold and coulldn't talk without sounding like a donkey being strangled. >_< In other words, my speeches went pretty horrible. :P I don't really care though, because my friends did awesome, and that makes me happy. We had a ton of fun at Regionals, and overall (except for me being sick) I would say it was the best tournament this year! ^_^
I'm getting my pics from it developed today, so I might be sending some out soon. I used 5 whole rolls of film, lol.

And Alexandra, you made me laugh so hard with those quotes! It made my day, lol. Turn Ethan on his head for me, will you? :P I'll see you tonight!
