It wasn't THAT bad. But anesthesia (sp?) is definitely odd stuff.

Well, goodbye everyone, I'm off for districts. =) Try to behave while I'm gone, eh?

Behave *well* that is!

(what the heck is might froth?)

you don't exactly need to, lol. Suffice it to say that it was just another one of those made-up things that we're so good at. ^_^

You know, since I've grown into a teenager, I've almost forgotten what it's like to be small. Ethan just walked in rubbing his chin and moaning. He then explained that "I bumped my chin on Daddy's belt when I was hugging him goodbye." Oh the disadvantages of being a kid. ;)

It went something like this:

you: *emerge from guys dorm and then disappear*
us: "Where'd Luke go?"
Madeline: "The evil kitchen staff probably caught him and is trying to eat him!"
*great sounds of crashing from the dining hall*
us: "Oh no! Well at least he's putting up a fight!"
*silence*
*more crashing*
*silence*
us: "I think he beat them!"
you: *walk out of the dining hall looking pleased with yourself*

he went back to his room because his contacts were bothering him.......and then after his fight he came back from his room, but of course, we only saw him when he was 10 feet away from us, so he *cough* could have been coming out of the dining hall. ;)

go out for a drive at about 10-ish at night. go out to the country where there's almost no other peoples or lights about. get someone else to drive the car at approx. 60-ish miles per hour (or more. the faster you go, the funner it is). then stick your head out the window to try to look at the simply beautiful stars!!! it's soooooo awesome!!

we were watching cinderella, and we just got to the part where her evil stepmother locks her in her room. the kids were like, "macgyver could figure out a way to get her out!" and i thought to myself, "i would just take out the hinges!" then i thought to myself, "wait, what if i actually WAS locked in my room today?" so i went upstairs and locked myself in my room (as best as i could). then i looked at the hinges. they looked pretty easy to destroy. so i knelt down and started twisting. i felt it moving but it hurt my fingers. and the top hinges wouldn't budge. so i stood up again. i looked around the room and leaned against the door like macgyver does most often. i opened the closet and found exactly what i needed: madeline's old latch hook. i picked it up and wedged it into the hinge. i pushed up. it came off delightfully easy. same with the top one. i stuffed the latch hook into my pocket for safe keeping. then i surveyed the door. i slid my toes under it and balanced my hands along the sides of it. it looked heavy. i pushed, pulled, and wedged it out of place. gravity took hold. it WAS heavy. it squished my toes. i finally got it out enough to slid out into the hallway. i looked back at my work. a self-satisfied grin crept onto my face. then i heard an aweful sound: "alright kids, go upstairs, it's time for bed!" i dashed back into my room. i could hear their little feet pounding up the stairs, racing each other to see who could be the first one to bed. it was just like in the movies. i got the door closed just in time. plus, it was put just right: anyone passing by who wasn't staring dirctly at it wouldn't notice anything extrordinary. now all i had to do was wait for them to go upstairs to their bedroom on the third floor. i leaned against the door and breathed a sigh of relief. except that i did it too early. daddy came up the stairs to say prayers with the kids, make sure they brushed their teeth, tuck them in, etc. i was *very* afraid he would see something wrong with the door and then come over and ask me to open the door, and when i would he would see what i did to the door...needless to say, i was a nervous wreck. i was biting my fingernails while they brushed their teeth, hoping on one foot while they said their prayers, (and to make matters worse, the crazy frog song happened to be playing on the radio at the time :P) but! i am proud of myself because i *did* manage to put the bottom hinge back on! then they finished everything. i heard them kiss daddy goodnight and i heard them go upstairs. but i didn't hear daddy go downstairs. i waited a little bit, then made the foolish decision that i didn't need to wait. i started shifting the doot around, pushing things and making noises. it must have looked funny from the outside. in fact, i'm sure it did, because daddy came over slowly and knocked on the door. i froze. "hello...?" he said. i slowly rose. "yes..?" i answered hesitantly. "open the door alexandra." he said sternly. i looked down at the door hinge i was clutching in my hand. for one split second i had this crazy idea of locking the door and shouting out, "don't come in! i'm dressing!" but my honest side got the better of me and i started to open the door slowly, hopeing that the bottom hinge would hold the door together. i took a deep breath and opened the door wide enough to peek my face out. but it was too much. the door busted off in my hand. daddy's face was hilarious. but i was too sheepish to giggle. he looked at me in shock. "wha-?" he asked. "heh heh" i replied, showing him the other hinge left in my hand. then i explained everything to him. "hmm." he said. "come downstairs, we want to play a game" i giggled and shut the door. after fixing the door, using the latch hook again, this time as a hammer. (btw, i put it in my purse because i found it so helpful) then i went downstairs, after i made sure the door worked again of corse. where i related my adventures to the rest of the family.
and now i have to go because it's my bedtime, plus madeline's breathing on my arm so i think she wants to get on.

(my! this is a long comment!)

Man, I really wish I could come to camp! But that price is half the reason we can't come. :( Hope you guys have fun though.

Guess what? I had a weird dream last night. My family and Hannah's family (plus a few of Hannah's "imaginary" friends) all got together in this big pavilion. I think we were having a cookout of some sort. Apparently we were also just a block away from Luke's house, but we didn't want to disturb him cuz we thought he'd be too busy. But suddenly he showed up anyway! Although, he was wearing this weird long white robe with a blue scarf around his neck. O_o Whatever. :P

(By the way, we're back from Grandma's. Oh, and my big brother Andrew's back from college for the summer. That makes me happy. ^_^)

I'll keep this short and concise :P I got a new desktop pc to replace my laptop. Although I've had it for about a week and a half it took me till last night around 10:30PM EST (yes thats important to me) to find a wireless internet adapter that works with windows vista so I can connect my pc to our internet. That being said I'm staying up late to reply to your email Madeline that I just got to read finally :P

Did I give the impression of being smart? My sincere apologies I'm far from a smart person :P

Funny thing is I've been described 2 ways by most people I work or socialize with. 1. Happy go lucky (I know weird right?) and 2. (more accurate in my opinion) is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. :P I like that one the best since according to my parents its the closest thing I relate to :D

So definitely not smart I just sound like it when I jabber on about techy stuff. So......anything new?
