Drivers License

As of 9am this morning I Luke C. Wojick am now a licensed driver of Ohio...... Thank you (applause)

On a side note I got all the letters that were bundled in one card. So...thanks to Alexandra and Hannah for their cards and notes. One day I might actually relearn this old thing called hand writing...o.0

*claps* I don't know when I'll start learning how to drive. Soon, I hope. I'm not really looking forward to it, but I want to get a car when I go to college back in PA so I can go see my friends. ;)

we saw this really crummy comic version of lotr. among the obvious problems with the movie, which i won't bore you by elaborating on, the one thing that had madeline and i in stitches over was that every time gollum said 'precious!' it sounded like he said 'gracious!'. so he would be like, "oh my gracious! they stole it! my gracious! my gracious!" it was practically hilarious! and as he was falling into the cracks of doom he shouted, "graaaacioussssss!!!" it was so funny!
however...pippin's neck was so thin and tall that we felt like it was just begging to be wrung. and merry was so fat that we felt like shaking him very very hard. and sam's nose was so huge that you couldn't even see his face half the time! and elrond looked like a caricature of the devil! and the ring made these weird space age computer noises! and sting made these headache causing sounds that were so freaky! and the ringwraiths...wait. i said i wouldn't bore you with all the problems.
BUT...madeline and i both decided we definitely liked this frodo way better than the frodo in new line cinema's version. this frodo pulled off the whole: fifty-and-yet-looking-like-twenty thing. and his EYES!!! they were SO adorable! (yes i know elijah wood's eyes are remarkable too, but this frodo's was adorable! ^_^ )
okay...enough. i really only wanted to talk about 'gracious!' i get so carried away sometimes! XP

feeling dumb again. i'm doing that a lot lately.
we went to dr. f's to help her with a few things that needed to be fixed up around her house. i had the job of puttying up all the holes in the doorways. (no, sure. i plastered up all the huge holes where people normally walk through! i think they're called doors. yeah, that's what i did. not!) anyway, the stuff was especially gloopy and i was very proud of myself for not getting any on my clothes. well, you can probably guess what happened. i was almost done, and i needed to get a new cloth for dabbing at the excess stuff and whatnot. well, i passed by dr. f on my way out. she was painting the doorway. i thought to myself, "watch out for the doorway!" and carefully avoided getting mucked. but just then dr. f asked if i had gotten all the work done. "well," i said as i casually leaned against the newly-painted doorway. "i've gotten all the rooms done except for jonas' and...oh dear..." i got paint all over the side of my arm and shoulder. well, dr. f lent me a shirt and i washed the paint off my arm and shirt. it's good now, but i still feel dumb.

Well for the first time in a long time it seems us college kids at our church are petitioning the session to form a official youth group!!! We already had a group meeting for social and discussion purposes, but we kept loosing kids due to leaving for college. That being noticed we lost the college tag and became a "16 and up" youth group ;) We're now waiting to see if it's all still on our shoulders alone or if the session will integrate with our group to help keep it centered and to keep tabs on us :D

Keep the group and the sessions decision in prayer ;)

Hannah, why'd you have to say that? Now I'll have to be tortured by school again tomorrow! :P

Guess what I did today? I read C. S. Lewis' book The Discarded Image. I very much dislike it. It is for people much smarter than me. :P After reading it for several hours today I went crazy. Tied up the book and hung it at dagger point on the wall, turned the radio all the way up, jumped vigerously on the bed, and tore up a bunch of notebook paper and threw it all over the room. :P

Tomorrow I think I'll probably draw all over my walls. In crayon.

Actually, yesterday and today school hasn't been as bad. In discussion time I found out that I actually HAD understood everything in The Discarded Image, so that made me happy. :D

And the walls remained crayon (and magic marker) free. :P

you can't say for certain that you have no relatives in ky. you might! you just don't know! maybe they're just very distantly removed from you. OR maybe they're actually pretty closely related to you, you just don't know of them. now, if you want to say that you don't have any relatives that you know of that live in ky that's quite acceptable. or you could even say that you don't have any relatives in ky that you would have a valid reason for visiting. at any rate, your statement needed revised. i just revised it for you.

you're welcome! :P

you never told me you had a laundry line! that's very bad! you run the risk of having a "dead" man (frozen/hibernating for 50 years) stealing your blue shorts and your pink hawaiian shirt! but don't worry. once elijah wood and his friend are done screaming in terror at him, they'll get him some proper clothes, and that'll be your chance to get the clothes back. :)

(hmm...i thought i'd better explain...'forever young' starring mel gibson and elijah wood. i think i told you about it before. well, just a few nights ago, madeline and i were watching it again, and oohing and ahhing over elijah wood's eyes, when it came to the part where mel gibson steals the clothes that just happen to be out on a laundry line. i thought to myself, "it's a good thing nobody hangs their clothes up anymore..." but then...you do! well, i'm not saying anything...it's your own business if you want your blue shorts and pink hawaiian shirt stolen!)
