The creature immerges

So there it is my pride and joy :D Just got this car last night actually. My parents drove to Michigan to pick it up and drove it back here to Ohio. Although it is a tad small (clearance on height is maybe 5'8-5'11) when sitting it still makes a really nice car. By the way its 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. We think its a V4 engine, but we haven't really looked in detail yet. it has the ability to seat four by sliding the front seats forward, but I doubt it would be comfortable lol.

As to the rest of things school plugs on with quarter number 3. I'm taking a programing class this quarter which is turning up all sorts of surprise and annoying logic thinking problems.

Seems my dad has to fly around alot more this month, but we're adjusting. Still working my same job, but when the license tags clear on this car I'm thinking of looking for a job a little farther out that might pay more.

Other then these meager updates not much has been going down here. The weather finally climbed past 30 degrees and we got to wear T-shirts today! Funny thing was someone in class told me that it's supposed to get cold all over again next week <_<

Hope you all are having a fine spring season!

Sweet car! I'm hoping to learn to drive this summer, or sooner. I have to take a drivers ed class at the high school, but we haven't figured out when they're having it and all that rot. I want to get a pickup eventually, lol. We'll see if it actually happens. ;)

On a more aggravating note, our computer broke. >_< Currently I'm on the library computer. (I love the fast connection though, haha.) We took the computer in to an expert, and hopefully he can get it fixed. It would be a real shame to lose all the pictures we have on there.

Keep up with the schoolwork, Luke! I'm not too fond of the logic thinking stuff myself, haha. Alexandra loves it though.

Guess what? Our computer is toast. Dead. Deceased. Not coming back. We can probably save the *thinks* oh pish, I can't remember what it's called. Hard drive maybe? You would know, Luke. Anyways, we can probably get some files off it, but other than that, it's dead. Dang it.

Out already? I still have till mid June before our quarter is over.

Sorry it's taking so long for me to post replies, but life is flying by at 90 miles an hour and combining school, work, and life in general I'm drowning over here :P

As to Alexandra I'm not sure which "legal" you mean. I'm a legal adult (since I'm over 18), but not a legal drinker (21+) so....not sure which you mean :P I'll be 20 in July.....feels freaky lol

We're having some typical Ohio weather this last week with it raining one day and being completely warm and sunny the next. It was around 70 degrees on Wednesday afternoon then by the night time was under 50 degrees o.0

I'll return soon I promise :P

Well Luke, we're a strange family. :P

Alexandra and I have been looking at a bunch of old camp pictures for the past couple days. Brings back fun memories, haha. ^_^

Andrew's coming home on Saturday! Yay! We're all really excited to have him home for the summer. ^_^ And we'll be going on vacation at the end of the month - our last vacation with him before he gets himself hitched. ;)

Btw Hannah - hopefully I can get your letter sent out by the end of this week. *cough* Sorry it's taking me so long.

your (not so) funny quote for today:

"There's always a danger in yawning. When you yawn, you run the risk of someone sticking their dirty finger down your throat and grabbing your tongue."

in other news...andrew's coming home on saturday and then we're all going to see PRINCE CASPIAN!!! *squeels*

i read all of prince caspian today and then, just because i couldn't help it, read the voyage of the dawn treader too. but i gave strict orders to madeline that if she found me reading the silver chair to smack me upside the head and remove the book from me promptly. (to which she gleefully agreed)

someone help me. i'm gonna go get the silver chair and read it now...

Andrew's home now! Yay! We went to see Caspian Saturday night. Have any of you seen it yet or are going to see it? I thought it was pretty good. They took a lot of liberties from the book, and they messed up a few of the characters a bit, but on the whole it was a good movie. (if you're not too much a die-hard fan of the books, that is. :P )

well then, in light of that news...some quotes from what we've parodied of narnia: (if you don't get them don't worry. our's is the messed up mind) (as you'll see, one of our gags is that peter can't count. don't ask how it started. all i'll say is that english accents are confusing at times. especially if you're playing hide and seek)

Edmund: "We'll take turns carrying your coat Peter. Let's count to 1000, then switch."
Peter: "Okay. I'll start. 1...2...3...19...67...39...589...478...999...999...999...um...uh...999...999..."
Edmund: *smirk*

Peter: "Here's what we'll do. I'll count to 10, then we'll smash Aslan's How!"
Edmund: *coughs* *whispers to Caspian* "You'd better count too. Peter's rubbish at counting."
Caspian: "Right."

Peter: "1...2...3...56...17..."
Caspian: "1...2...3...4...5..."
Peter: "86...5...33...9..."
Caspian: "6...7...8...9..."
Peter: "73...280...22..."
Caspian: "10!! Now Narnians!!!"
Peter: *confused*
Edmund: *shrugs innocently*
Peter: "I had it sorted." *sulks*

Boy: *bumps into Peter* *spills books* "You clumsy! Look what you made me do!"
Peter: *is angry* *thinks* "Mum always said 'count to ten first'."
Other boy: "Well, help him clean it up!"
Peter: *stands rigidly* "1...2...17...59..."
Boy: *is puzzled* "What's he doing?"
Peter: "7...4...15...16...19..."
Other boy: "I believe he's counting."
Peter: *flushes angrily* "70...26...8..."
Boy: "Counting to what?!"
Peter: "7...8...9...17...9...15..."
Other boy: "I think he's trying to count to 10."
Peter: *clenches fists and teeth* "8...9...9...9..." *is bewildered*
Boy: "Ha ha! He can't remember what come after 9!"
Peter: *is enraged* "...9...9...9...9..."
Other boy: "That wasn't nice of you to laugh at him like that Frederick. Of course he knows that 10 comes after 9. Now apologize."
Peter: *flies off the handle* "TEN!!! AHH!!!" *slugs the other boy* *fight breaks out*

Peter: "Ftt! AH!" *falls forewards onto his face*
Others: *look at each other in concern*
Peter: *stands up* *walks a few paces* "Ftt. AH!" *falls again*
Edmund: "Peter, what are you doing?"
Peter: *gets up* "I'm practicing getting shot in the back." *walks a few more paces* "Ftt. AH!" *falls onto his face*
Everyone else: *beffuddled muchly*

Peter: "This is all your fault."
Caspian: "My fault?!"
Peter: "None of this would have happened if you had just listened to me in the first place!"
Susan and Lucy: *give each other queer looks*
Caspian: "Oh so you knew this was going to happen."
Peter: "I didn't know what would happen. Which is why we should have left while we still could!"
Lucy: "Stop it! This isn't going to help Edmund!"
Edmund: ???
Susan: "She's right. Only Aslan can save your brother now."
Edmund: ?!?!
Peter: "What in the world are you two talking abou--ohh! Ha ha. 'Then take us to him'. I get it."
Caspian and Edmund: !?!?!

and that's it. those of you who have read the books and seen the movies might have gotten those (hopefully) but if not, right now i bet you're more like Caspian and Edmund in that last qoute. ;)
