Noah turned 7 today. Yesterday I took him to Target to get some party supplies and as we were crossing the parking lot he said, "Today is the last day you can hold my 6-year-old hand. Tomorrow you'll have to hold my 7 year-old hand." Such a sweetie, my little Noah.
I got this cake idea from Family Fun magazine. Here's the link that tells you how to make the cake and gives a template for cutting out the bones.

Basically, you cute the bones out of sugar cookie dough and bake them. Make whatever flavor 13x9 cake you want. Frost with chocolate frosting. Take 2 sleeves of chocolate graham crackers and smash. Cover the cake in the graham cracker "dirt". Take broken pieces of graham crackers and make a border around the cake pan. Arrange the dinosaur bones as shown. Sprinkle a little more "dirt" over the bones. All done!
