Proverbs Devo Today
I have a devotion up today at the Proverbs 31 site, or you can get to it through the devotion blog. Both of these sites are listed on my sidebar. This devotion is on finances, a subject that is near and dear to my heart, and my husband's heart! I hope it will minister to someone who is dealing with financial issues, or maybe just needing a little prompting as to their heart attitude about money and "stuff."
Incidentally, this same subject, in article form, will appear in Crown Financial's newsletter in April. I have written here before about making one subject fit different venues, thereby stretching your writing efforts. This is an example of that. After I wrote this devotion, I felt it was important enough to submit to Money Matters as an article. So, keep that in mind when working on material-- how can you take the same concept and make it work for a devotion, an article, etc? Someone I respect gave me this advice once, and I wanted to pass it along to you. I don't do a ton of this, but I do look for ways to take my devotions and apply them as illustrations for articles. Since I do all of that writing pro bono, I like to make it work for me in other areas.
