Marybeth's Musings on
Motherhood and More
|
Well, tomorrow morning bright and early I will be headed to Winston Salem, NC for the North Carolinians for Home Education conference. I will be speaking on both days, so it promises to be a busy time. I love going to this conference and look forward to it each year. My daughter Ashleigh will be going with me. She is probably more excited than I am! My friend (and fellow P31 Speaker team member) Shari Braendel will be speaking there tomorrow, and she is going to stay over and make a girls night out of it! We are both excited about that-- and my daughter thinks Shari hung the moon, so she is pretty jazzed as well. We will also see my friend Bonita there, who is debuting her brand new writing curriculum, which I hope to be reviewing here at some point. To make things even more exciting, I am planning to meet my blogging friend Lindsey at Enjoy The Journey for dinner tomorrow night. Can't wait!
All of this to say, I will be out of commission for a few days but hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend-- however you decide to celebrate! And don't forget to check in over at Faith Lifts tomorrow for my post.
I am off to make dinner, chase children and prepare for a podcast interview I am doing tonight. At some point, I should probably look over my notes for this weekend as well....

Marybeth, it was so nice to finally meet you Saturday after your workshop at NCHE. I wanted to say again that your words truly spoke to and touched my heart...you really did a super job speaking to us. It was such an enlightening, emotional conference for me...I have to say it was the BEST ONE YET. The Klicka's were wonderful and I felt so blessed to be able to hear them speak. Keep up the wonderful blog...I look so forward to reading each new entry. Take care and GOD BLESS.
