Easy Grammar

Easy Grammmar Plus  has been a hit so far with my 8th grade boys.   Even my 9th grade daughter wanted to play  Preposition Bingo  with us.  They were disappointed I hadn't pre-planned a prize for the winners.  The sequencing of lessons begins with knowing and understanding the function of prepositions and prepositional phrases.  Complex sentences are so much easier to parse once the prepositional phrases are crossed out.

This book is a wondeful review of all the punctuation, capitalization, and word usage skills learned the kids learned in the Daily Grams series.

The Easy Grammar Plus level is suitable for 7th-9th grade and provides a cumulative review of all basic grammar concepts.

Is not the great defect of our education today... that although we often succeed in teaching our pupils "subjects," we fail lamentably on the whole in teaching them how to think: they learn everything, except the art of learning. - Dorothy Sayers

The entire object of true education is to make people not merely to do the right things, but to enjoy them; not merely industrious, but to love industry; not merely learned, but to love knowledge; not merely pure, but to love purity; not merely just, but to hunger and thirst after justice. - John Ruskin

There is just one way to bring up a child in the way he should go, and that is to travel that way yourself. - Abraham Lincoln

Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts. - Albert Einstein
