I've Been Tagged

I've been tagged (because I asked to be, LOL).  I read the ones on cyndiegirl72 blog and thought they were interesting.  So here goes:

Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18 & find line 4

      "Keep important family documents in"

Stretch out your left arm as far as you can, What can you touch?

nothing but air, the dining table is another 2 or 3 feet away

What is the last thing you watched on TV?

Days of Our Lives (how sad is that, after about 8 years of not watching it, I've seen 2 episodes and I'm all caught up!)

Without looking, guess what time it is?

     About 11:00 am

Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?

11:11 am, WOW and that was a total guess!!

When did you last step outside? What were you doing?

yesterday afternoon, when I came home from visiting mom's.

Before you started this survey, what did you look at?

The meat I just put in my crock-pot to see how it was coming along.  Still raw, but sure is smelling yummy!

What are you wearing?

Shorts, pajama top, and bare feet (don't tell Flylady!)

Did you dream last night?

Surprisingly no, of course I was heavily medicated due to a migraine yesterday, so I think I was fairly comatose.

When did you last laugh?

Chance and I was laughingly crazily at something, but for the life of me it escapes me right now.  I laugh all the time though, maybe that's why it doesn't stand out.

What is on the walls of your room?

Our room is a mix of Asian/Oriental decor and a bunch of homeless clutter.  On the walls is some gorgeous oriental prints that I had framed (way to pricey, but beautiful), an authentic asian dress and straw hat, and a variety of other asian/oriental stuff (swords, sculptures, prints, and other art).

Seen anything weird lately?

Hmmmm, all the time!  The weirdest is a chainsaw some men made from a V-8 engine!  It's a video on the internet that my husband showed me.

What do you think of this quiz?

Cute, I like the different types of questions, a change from the other tags I've gotten.

What is the last film or video you saw?

In the theater was "Cars", on TV was "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"

If you became a millioniare overnight, what would you buy?

I think I would hire a professional organizer to come in and HELP ME!  But even before that I would have a new house built with state of the art security system, more bedrooms, indoor pool, seperate area for homeschooling, and have it fully stocked with supplies to last us at least 6 months in the case of an emergency.  Funny how I would have not considered any of this before having kids!

Tell my something about you I don't know.

I never follow a recipe to the letter.  I'm known for that, in fact.  A little trait I get from my Grandma Burrows.  Drives my mother crazy, but hey, it's still edible!

If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?

Adoption reversals.  A birth parent should have 30 days period to reclaim a child.  DNA test should be done to confirm maternity and paternity for the child.  If the paternity can not be confirmed, then there needs to be a public statement made somehow that anyone thinking that a baby born on such-and-such date in whatever city needs to have a DNA test done to confirm or deny.  After the 30 days are past and no father is found then the father's right should be terminated.  The adoptive parents should then be able to adopt without the fear that the birth parents can change their mind and come back and take their child.

Do you like to dance?

I do like to dance, so I do it sometimes in the kitchen when no one is watching (or when I want to embarrass my oldest son!).  We only go out dancing when my husbands company has their Christmas dinner.

Comment to President Bush?

I'm ashamed to say that I voted for you in the last election.  I was really on the fence, but Kerry was pro-abortion, and I couldn't excuse that.  I actually wish I hadn't bothered to vote at all.
