Traveling Geography Journal Update

Posted in GEOGRAPHY

A couple of months ago we sent our three traveling geography journal, but only one is making it's way around the globe.  I'd like to start the other two off anew and would like to send one each to people that will do what is required when you receive it (very easy actually).  Here is the link that tells more about it, this information will come attached to the journal - www.homeschoolblogger.com/chaspelin/225086 .

Please, I must beg of you, only volunteer if you can honestly continue it as we request.  We understand these won't have as much time to travel, but some is better than none.  If you are interested, please leave me a comment and I will contact you for your mailing address.  Or contact me at the email link in the sidebar and I will let you know.  I only have two to send, so it will be first come first served.  Thanks so much for anyone willing to do it.  Please refer to the link above to see what to expect, but comment here.  Thanks!

My 8 yr old dd wants to participate. We live in Southern IN. I will have to think hard about who to send it on to.

Just a thought, but how old are your kids? My Matthew is 9 and he is responsible for keeping the common bath wiped down.He uses windex and paper towels. That includes the sink, toilet and floor. I do the tub once a week. He does a fair job on it and I don't have to do it. He also is responsible for keeping the living room tidy. If anyone leaves something out, he reminds them to put it away or he just does it. My Nathan is responsible for the yard, any trash that blows in and putting toys and bikes/scooters away. He also wipes the sliding glass doors everyday (dog noses and fingerprints). These are things I could do but if I can train them to do it, I don't have to and I can work on other things. Just a thought, but can your children help out too?

About Me

The ramblings of a mother / wife / homeschooler. I love what I do and hope to encourage others to follow their heart and bring their children home to learn. I've seen the village, and I don't want it raising my children.
