Homeschool Tracker Program

Posted in RAMBLINGS
I've twice downloaded the Homeschool Tracker free basic program and twice I've grown frustrated with it and deleted it.  However, due to a recent conversation with a fellow homeschooler, I've decided to give it another try.  I'm doing much better at keeping to a lesson plan for each child that I hand-write every Saturday.  The kids really like knowing exactly what book to use and what pages to do.  My old way of doing it was to pile all the books in the middle of the table and hope for the best! LOL!  Needless to say, that wasn't usually very effective.  I've noticed since I've been handwriting it out for each child to check off, we get SO much more done.  So, I'm off to play with the free version and if I find I use it the rest of this school year, then I may upgrade to the pay version for next school year.

I also found it a little hard to use at first, but after messing with it for a few days and reading and re-reading the directions I got the hang of it. I'm sure you will too and then I think you'll be glad you did. The upgrade has video tutors on it to help you work the program, which helped me tremendously. Good Luck!

I have used Homeschool Tracker and once we get the laptop serviced (the one I'll be using) then I'll get it loaded and will start using it again. I did notice that when I did use it, I was more focused on the tasks at hand and didn't go off on tagents as much. Love, Adrienne
