Here is a poem about summer, even though its a little too early...
Summer Time ( a summer poem by Meghan)
I am hot, warm, sticky, musty.
I am water, pools, hoses, splashing, diving, SPLASH!
I am shade, weeding, playing, cool.
I am wind, breeze, bikes.
I am ice, lemonade, melting chocolate, slowly dripping, GO TO THE FRIDGE!
I am popsicles, cherry, lime, lemon, orange, berry, ice cream truck.
I am shorts, tank tops, swimsuit.
I am panting, sweating, sleepy, sometimes drowzy.
I am no school, YIPPEE!
I am all of these things and more,
WHAT AM I?
I AM SUMMER!
