Herbal Momma Handcrafted Soaps & Herbal Products

Posted in Going Green

So the Little and I went to check the PO Box today and what to my wondering eyes did appear but a priority mail box that filled my, well, PO Box.  I didn't recognize the return address, although it did say "Herbal Momma" and come from a town about an hour north of mine.  Here in Washington, "herbal" can mean several different things, though I assumed the good old USPS wouldn't let certain types of herbs (of which I have never partaken, by the by!) find their way to my brand spankin' new PO Box.

So anywho, the Little wanted to know who it was from and what was in it, but I decided to wait until we got home.  Maybe in some weird way I figured it would be better to contaminate my house, rather than my truck, if said box was full of white powder or something.  (Sorry, gallows humor there.  It's been an interesting week.)

I did open up the box (which smelled lovely all the way home, putting my conspiracy-theory to rest (sorta).  Lucky girl that I am, it was a birthday present from my friend Carrie!  Not just any present, either.  It was a box full of handcrafted soaps, all wrapped up pretty in tissue and complete with a card (hence how I knew why I was receiving these lovely treats).

And oh, they are simply gorgeous.  Back when I had the time and energy I really enjoyed making melt-and-pour soaps, but mine are nothing in comparison to these works of art.  Mmmmm.  Luscious, I tell ya!

Here's the splendiferous selection I received:

These soaps are just beautiful.  THANK YOU!  I'm so impressed I had to add the link to Herbal Momma as well...look over on the right column of the blog, in the "Companies I Like" section.  Go check out her wares for yourself too!
