Continuing Education (or, What I Want To Be When I Grow Up)

One of my favorite parts of homeschooling is that it allows me to become further educated myself.  I attended both college and a trade school and completed my AAS in Anthropology and a certificate program in Interior Decorating.  Yeah, those are just a WEE bit eclectic, huh?  Get this...my major in high school was Natural Resource Management.

Quite the combo, huh?  Well, I decided to sit down and plot out the other things I want via adult education...it gets better!

For instance, I'd like to:

Earn my Washington Motorcycle Rider Endorsement

Become an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor

Earn my BA in History from Washington State University

Earn a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Technician Certification

These four things alone will take years...and they are only the tip of the iceberg for my education plans.  Got a whole lot of learning to do!  My goal is to get the rider endorsement during 2006.  Wish me luck!

...coming out.And I am SO much the same. My "wanna learn" list is much tamer though - tending towards things like watercolor painting, herbal remedies, and kayaking....no Harley Hogs for me! I also want to find money somewhere to travel all over the world and write about it. Life is too short to be boring!

Mel you are so amazing!! You are such an inspiration! For me, writing is my goal. I love to write. Not sure I am very good at it...but I enjoy it anyway. You inspired me there too. But, I am not sure about motorcycle riding! lol
