I woke up this morning around 6:30 made hubby and I some coffee.I read my devotional. (I love Joyce Meyers Starting Your Day Off Right.) I got dressed and put a batch of clothes in the washer.Hubby and I had our little morning talk,then he went to work in the shop.(we have a construction,custom cabinet company)I got the boys up at 8:30.They ate breakfast then started school.We are using the Switched On School House curriculum .I'm not pleased .I'm really at a lost on what to use next year.Oh! did I mention this is my first year.Well have to go for now time to get supper started.

My two oldest daughters like Switched on Schoolhouse. My oldest has been doing it for 2 years and my other daughter has used it this year. They want something different for next year, but I have no clue what to do for them. I guess God will show me as we go along. If I have any ideas, I will let you know.

Just came across your blog, I'm also in 1st year and was thinking about Switched on Schoolhouse, but decided against it. We use Abeka right now, great for daughter 3rd, but too fast for son 1st. And I also love Joyce Meyer Starting Your Day! Sherry
