We have been reading through 1 Corinthians 13 this month.
People everywhere want love. Most people will tell you they love others, they
may say they love their spouse or children, etc.
But the Bible gives us a definition of love that I think will make us think again.
Love suffers long, and is kind. It does not envy. it does not boast. It is not proud.
It is not rude. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always
perserveres. Love never fails.
Love is doing the will of God to another person, regardless of how we feel,
regardless of what they have done to us, even if they haven't earned it.
I am so glad that Jesus loved and still LOVES me!
