Voting
I decided I wanted to vote early this year. So yesterday I went to cast my ballot. The kids got to see
how the voting process works. It was great. No long lines, the people were great to deal with. The kids got stickers saying "I voted!"
When I went to the machine. I let them stand on a chair to overlook how it worked. They saw me punch through the pages and select my candidates.
I told my children that voting is a chance to voice your opinion. And that people that don't vote should never complain. |
