Weight Watchers Week 1

Posted in Weight Watchers

I was so excited yesterday to learn I had lost 6 pounds my first week on Weight Watchers.

This is a picture of 5 pounds of fat-that I am no longer carrying around!

I have really been doing good this past week. I still eat what I want, I just eat less. So instead of 4 pieces of pizza I have 2. Instead of 4 cookies I have 2. (And I have been adding in carrots since they are free points.) So that adds one more veggie to my daily amount.

The one thing I don't like about the program is that activity points don't give much. My normal weekly cardio would only give me 2 activity points. Meaning I could realiistically have 2 extra apples during my week.  (Sigh)  And I don't know if they count gardening and household chores.

With Spark People you get credits for all those things.

Losing 6 lbs is great, and I know you will accomplish your goal. I remember years ago, Memaw lost 25 lbs. just by cutting her consumption in half, and she said it was hard the first 2 weeks, she never gained it back, and my doctor in Houston that put her on the diet, lost 100 lbs and never gained it back.
