I recently fixed up the basement room of our schoolroom. Please see my photos below.

These are our school books. All of them actually. I don't believe in having an over abundance of books. I have 2 years worth of My Father's World on there and all the other subjects too.

This is the preschool area I made for my dd. We do 1/2 hour of preschool each morning before I work with the older girls.

Here are our fiction books and my tileboard marker board from Home Depot. I added a calendar/weather feature using laminated cardstock words and numbers. I attached velcro circles to the board and to the backs of each piece. My daughter can then change the date and weather daily on the board.
