Thumb Area Homeschoolers

This is a call out to all homeschoolers in the Thumb area of Michigan!

I found that there weren't really a lot of things going on in my area.  I live north of Imlay City (in Goodland Twp.) and I belong to one Yahoo! Group list.  I would really like to see more groups, more field trips and more co-ops in this area (if there are any!).  I am currently involved in a co-op that gathers in Troy at Kensington Church on Fridays.  Yes, I travel far!  I'm on the Board for GRACE co-op.  We are also involved in a lot of things going on in that general area.

G.R.A.C.E. Homeschool Co-op

Registration closes for the GRACE Homeschool Co-op for the arts on September 1st!!!

Sign up now if you are in the Troy area.  (we've had members come from Detroit all the way to Goodland Township, north of Imlay City (me!).

GRACE Homeschool Co-op for Southeast Michigan

G.R.A.C.E. Homeschool Co-op is an art-based Christian cooperative of moms (and sometimes dads!) who get together during the school year (Starting in September) on Fridays from 10am to 1pm.

GRACE meets at Kensington Church in Troy.

Minimum requirement for families who would like to join is age 7.  You can have younger children, but one of your attending children must be at least 7 years old by September.
