Here it is...our beautiful, little Christmas tree.  The photos you see here are slightly blurry because I wanted to get the true Christmas tree effect without the flash which wouldn't illuminate the lights at all.  You can see that Photo 3 has white lights while all the others have colored.  If only you knew how fun it was to string the tree!  I wanted to literally string it up on the back patio and forget about it at one point!  My hubby strung the white lights, but there was a good amount of lights left at the end and because I have an anal personality I wanted to re-string them.  Well, I refrained...although I wouldn't have minded stripping the ornaments to start over.  Well, two days later Shayla plugged in the lights and they burned out.  So, we threw up the colored lights and I had to rewrap those twice because at first they were only halfway around the tree before I ran out!  I felt like I walked out of some Christmas movie scene...the kind where you are laughing hysterically at the woes of the poor schmuck on the screen.  Of course, it's never as much fun to play the part in real life!

Photo 1 shows a blurry Lillian princess, Photo 2 shows our dear friend's daughter who was over to help, Photo 3 shows Shayla's original attempt and Photo 4 shows the end result.  Every night I get a wonderful feeling when the Christmas tree is plugged in.  There really is something magical about it!
