Today was an awesome day!
Aside from Biology class (which I attended in costume), we went
to Burger King with my friend Devan before heading to our friends house
and getting ready to trick or treat. There were a ton of little kids,
and I felt out of place and thought I wasn't going to have any fun.
Devan and I stood on the sidelines for about 15 minutes or so, kind of
just wondering what we should do the whole time the little ones were
trick-or-treating, then we started asking each other, "Do you want to
go trick-or-treat?"
The other's response was always, "I
don't know, do you want to?" to which the other would respond the same
way, so for awhile we didn't go anywhere or do anything, then finally,
I just said, "Come on, let's just go..."
It was awkward at
first. Imagine being a teenage girl standing outside someone's house
in a french maid costume...whenever anyone looked at me I thought
'They must be wondering about my mental condition for me to be standing
out here like this...' but I got used to it lol...
Soon
after Devan and I started trick-or-treating, my 2 other friends, Tayva
and Kameron showed up, and we took off immediately, to the adults
dismay (we didn't even tell them...oops!), and met up with my sister
Kaitlyn and her friends.
I had the best time! Early on,
Tayva and I walked by these 2 girls and one of them who was dressed up
like a vampire hissed at us...she was about our age or older, and I
think she expected us to be scared, but we just cracked up
hysterically...
The whole time I was fishing through my bag
for something chocolate, and before long all the teenagers were hyped
up on sugar and we started singing Christmas Carols just to see how
everyone would respond.
The adults eventually caught up
with us and took us to another neighborhood, where we stayed for about
15 minutes, walking up to people's doors and saying "Merry Christmas",
before they took us back to our friend Jessie's house.
When we got there there was hot chocolate, apple cider, soda and yummy cupcakes! MMMMM!!! hehe...
After Tayva was done dancing to Elvis songs, she and I decided
to go outside. Kameron and Devan were already out there, and everyone
else seemed to follow, and we soon found ourselves in the middle of a
HYSTERICAL game of big jiffy with all the adult women included. I made
so many mistakes that my friends came up with a remix song with my
mess-ups as the lyrics to make fun of me...It was a great day!
And besides all that, I also got my driver's licensing handbook!!! YES!!!
