When you hear the word modesty, what do you think of? You might think thier choice of dress, or something like that. Some people think that only girls can be "imodest" but I happen to disagree. First I will talk about how girls then boys, yes I said BOYS can be, shall we call it "REPULSIVE"?!!
I believe that imodesty can sometimes tend to be only accosiated with a girl's/woman's neckline. But, that is not the only thing that can be called "imodest" about a young lady. How she holds herself, constantly talks, or anything like that. I recently went to our local mall to shop for some t-shirts, I was HORRIFIED!! For some reason it struck me this time how terrible it is that so many young girls are being pushed into the mold of this world. We did not come out with any shirt. It is especially hard at this age when nothing fits. I don't know about you but I am currently in that stage of clothes. What stage? You know when all the child sizes are too small, and all the adult sizes are to big. Last year you could just squeze into those child size shirts when you got the biggest size. It has been very hard to find some clothes for me.
Anyway, I am here to say that you should examine your life and see how you live. Do you CONSTANTLY talk? Do hold yourself in a way that attracts attention to yourself? You can be a great example of what a Christian should be just by how you dress. Trust me, people will notice.
