This is a planner I wrote in 2006 to pull my brain, my plans, and my house together for back-to-school time. I wasn't planning on posting it this year because I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested, plus I thought I wouldn't really use it, myself. After taking a look back, though, I've decided to print it out and put it into my own notebook and go ahead and start today--the funny coincidence is that I wrote it years ago when I just happened to have 23 days to go 'til school started, and I've just pulled it out to check today--and found I have 23 days 'til we head to Merritt Island to pickup Bo, which effectively means I've got 23 days left to plan! I'll re-post it here for the next 3 weeks, and hopefully someone else will find it useful! So . . . here it is! Use it in whatever way it's most helpful to you!

Well, with some help from my friend Joe, I think I've got this ready to go!
It's almost that time again, friends! I know I need to get organized and ready for structured educational time around here. Enough of the playstation! Enough of hearing "I'm bored! What are we doing today?" Enough of the sleeping in late! (Well, okay, maybe not that yet, but it's coming) . . .It's time to prepare.
This will be my tenth year of homeschooling. Wow. I should be an expert. Ha! It's sortof like your Christian walk . . .the more you know, the more you know how little you know! So I've decided to get really organized and write it all down. And if I'm going to all that work, why not put it here for whomever else might want some help in thinking about this year?
I learned so much from working through Amy at Dandelionseeds' Clean Heart, Clean Home Challenge earlier this year, that I thought it would be great to prepare for my school year the same way. There are 23 days on the calendar from today until I plan to start school at our house. I've decided to break down all the things I know I need to focus on, from schedule planning to putting my home in order to ordering curriculum. And I'm going to be answering all my own questions after I print out the sheets right along with you!
I'll be writing and posting these day by day, so jump in if you want and use it however you want! I hope it will be a blessing to you!
P.S. Please forgive the typo-ed "their" on page 3 . . . sigh . . . I DO know that it should be "there;" I DON'T know how to get into this old file to fix it, LOL!
Here's the links to the printable pages for the first week. I'll be reprinting my entire posts here daily with the daily link (today's is first below, obviously!) but I know some of you are (like me!) possibly obsessive planners and would like to get ahead of the game, or perhaps would just like to get a better idea of where I'm heading with all this! There's a little bit of everything in this planner! Have fun, however you decide to plan your year.

*Just finished my weekly shopping with the Grocery Game. Between Winn-Dixie, Publix, CVS and Walgreens I spent $250. I bought tons of school supplies this week! I saved $303. So I basically acquired $553 worth for $250. If you're not doing the Grocery Game, you ought to try it! A 4-wk trial is only $1. Put in my email address and if you continue, I'll get referral credit.
I *always* save more than 50% each week and my shelves are full, praise the Lord--and that's a great thing in uncertain times, especially with food prices rising faster than gasoline prices!
