It's all good!!

OK, I'm no good at this

I just have to say that I am no good at blogging.  That being said, I am totally OK with this.  I had such big hopes for this blogging thing, but, ... well, you know what "they" say about the best laid plans...  Anyway,   Maybe the blogging part of my brain will develop with time... We'll see........

Although I haven't posted on this thing for a LONG time, I do get on line and read other people's blogs and I LOVE it!!!  It has given me such encouragement, hope, great tips, I could go on.  I have read about so many people who seem just like me and so many others that  I only "aspire" to be like and then some who I find our styles... different, but interesting and this has broadened my ideas of homeschooling.  I have a year under my belt now and feel so much "better" aboout things, but I have to say that when I have "those" days, it is so good to hop on here and read something that just reminds me why I am doing this.  I am not alone!!  I am not the only one who has "those" day!!!  I am so grateful for this site and although I don't post that often, I am so thankful for those who do.  You will never know what some of your blogs mean to some people.

With that said, I'm off to read a bit more.  Thanks to everyone who posts here!

A blessed day to all...

Kim

Still plugging along

Hello again!

Thanks to sweet "Deb" who has really been so nice to me.  I am just "plugging" along and I think doing fairly well.  I'm getting settled on curriculum for next year, who knew there was so much to choose from??!!  I actually think I am getting the hang of the "blogging" thing too, but I'm afraid to admit that I have totally "got it" yet.

I signed up for Dandelion Seeds "Clean Heart, Clean Home" challenge and I'm loving it!  She (Amy) is so on top on things.  Aahhh  to be organized?  Well, it's a goal anyway.

Well, I'm off again.  Thanks for posting on my site.  I'll keep everyone posted as I prepare for our school year.

Bye for now....

Kim

Trying to get the hang of this...

Well, I'm still trying to get the hang of all of this.  I think blogging may turn out to be harder than homeschooling =)  I'll figure it out soon.... Thanks for the advice on "how - to"

We just finished spring break here.  My kids are in a private school now, but we are going to homeschool "next year" which will actually start in the summer.  We all are soooooo excited.  I'm hoping that in these last few weeks, while my kids are still in their private school, I will figure out all this "stuff" at home.  I'm researching curriculum, support groups, "blogging", activities, etc.  Each time I discover something, it just makes me more excited.  Consequently, each time I hear of something happening in a school, I'm more convinced of my decision to homeschool.  It' s all going to be great.

Well, I hope I'm putting this in the right place, if not.... bear with me, I'll get it.

Thanks for everyones support

Blessings to all

Kim

Hello!!

Hello to everyone

I feel so blessed to have found this "blog" society.  It is so nice to read about all of your lives.  I am just beginning my homeschooling journey, but am so excited.  I have 2 children.  Emily is 10 and will be in the 6th grade, and Matthew is 8 and will be in the 3rd grade.  I am married to Keith, who is a wonderful man and provides for me to stay home and be with the kids.  We are a very active family, involved in church and many sports.

I am excited to get "plugged - in" here.  All advice is welcome.

Thanks everyone for sharing your stories.  They are comforting to read.  I know that I am not alone!

Hope to share more soon!

In Christ --

Kim
