Hello to everyone

I feel so blessed to have found this "blog" society.  It is so nice to read about all of your lives.  I am just beginning my homeschooling journey, but am so excited.  I have 2 children.  Emily is 10 and will be in the 6th grade, and Matthew is 8 and will be in the 3rd grade.  I am married to Keith, who is a wonderful man and provides for me to stay home and be with the kids.  We are a very active family, involved in church and many sports.

I am excited to get "plugged - in" here.  All advice is welcome.

Thanks everyone for sharing your stories.  They are comforting to read.  I know that I am not alone!

Welcome to HSB and to homeschooling. I found you by looking at who was new here at HSB. I think you will find quite an eclectic group of homeschoolers and lots of encouragment and love.

Come back often and post - I always love meeting new moms with a passion for their children.

I am new to this "blogging" thing, and not sure how often I should post. It is spring break here, so we are enjoying some down time, and a visit from my parents.

I'm glad you're going to stick around. Did you mean to post your comment as a new entry?

If so, (and I hope I'm not being presumptious), you need to login and it will take you to a control panel with several options. One is "Add new Entry" that is where you write your blog entries.

Hope I'm not being a busy-body or anything.

not only to blogging, but to homeschooling, too! Even though my children started out in public school, I have never had a regret about pulling them out to homeschool! We love it!
