DO you ever get asked "How can you afford to homeschool all of your children?"

I get that question a lot , or I will get some (mostly family members) saying will you would be able to afford this ir that if you didn't spend all your money on homeschooling. I don't know where they get the idea that I spend a fortune on homeschooling because I don't. The most money I spend on Homeschooling is for supplies like glue scissors crayons paper pencils etc which is supplies I would have to buy if they were in public school any way.

There are a lot of resources out there to help with homeschooling so you do not have to spend a fortune on homeschooling. I have found them, see my husband is disabled ,we almost lost him this year do to the doctors over medicating him, so we have ben on a pretty tight budget. I am not asking for anyone to feel sorry for us, I want to help others who do not have a lot of money that want to homeschool to do so with out being worried about money. I

I have not had that question yet, but my boys are still young. I do know, though, that you are correct in this. From the research I have done, there are a ton of free resources available, through online, the library, other community and state opportunities. It will take more work in planning than using a "curriculum in a box", but it is totally feasible and can be tailored to your child's needs and interests.
Sorry to hear about your DH. I hope that he recovers well.
