I have tried several different ones but we do good for awhile and then it is back to not getting everything done and it is hard to get caught up if you get behind in anything.
I am looking forward to your ideas and suggestions.

Hello Bloggers!
WOWit has been awhile since I have been able to blog. Things hve been crazy around here, my mom had surgery two months ago and when they did the surgery they found cancer, but we have an awesome Lord the cancer is curable she is starting radiation treatments on tuesday and they docs believe it will be six weeks of treartments and it should be gone. Praise the Lord for all his blessings!
My dd Jamie (16) is having some health issues also, on wednesday she has to see a G.I specialist , she is so brave , they have done about 20 tests on her in the last month and she is still smiling.
On a happier note I have started a homeschool support group in my area, we have about eight famiolies enrolled. we are just getting started so that is pretty good number. I really enjoy the other Moms in the group , I am so thankful to have other homeschool moms to talk too.
Will i need to go and get some sewing done.
Have a blessed daY,

My husband is slowly getting back to himself!!!!!!
It has been about a year since my husband almost died of kidney failure, he was sick for about two years and the docs would not do anything for him until his kidneys started failing. I was already in TN (he was still in Wy) when he was hospitalized for kidney failure and the doctor told me to get back as soon as I could because they did not expect him to make it through the weekend. A very scary time in our life, I spent every minute I could on the phone for the next three days with my husband. He had strayed from God and this opened the door for me to witness to him and bring him back to God where he belonged. Will we prayed and read the bible over the phone and God healed him , he walked out of the hospital three days later and two weeks later drove uhaul from wyoming to Tn.
God is awesome!!!!!! My husband has been through a lot lately recovering from being overdosed with prescription medicine for two and a half years and moving to a new place (he was born and raised in wyoming).
I am so proud of my husband for being so strong and for taking care of our family!!!!

Wow , I have been very busy!
Wow it has been a long time since I have had time to post. I have ben very busy.We have finished up are school year and are now taking our summer break. my three older girls have all got summer jobs so I have been taking them to appointments and stuff to get that started.My mom gave us all a scare they doctors thought she had cancer in her uterus (not surre if I spelled that right) but she did not have cancer Praise our awesome Lord, she has had two surgeries in the last two weeks, which has given me , Laci and Tiffany an opportunity to witness to my family. God always puts us right where we need to be . I am so thankful for everything the Lord has blessed me with and that he loves me and forgave me for my sins. When I was younger I did not live for GOd I thought I could live any way I wanted but God showed me that I was miserable living the way of the world . Well I hope all of you are having a blessed evening I am off to read and get ready for bed!

Husbands Surgery went well.
Yesterday my husband had surgery on his leg ,finally. It was postponed three times. The reason he had to have surgery was because a doctor in wyoming had cut out a lump which we are not sure what it was, he never sent it in to be biopsed(hope that is spelled right) , well that never healed it kept swelling up and draining (yuck). So the doc here in tn decide to cut out the bad tissue, laser the new and stitch it up.
she expected it to take an hour and a half to two hours but it only took 45 minutes to do the surgery. Now you know GOD was in that operating room, isn't our GOD awesome? Before they took Roger in we sat in his room and read the Bible and Prayed, then as soon as we finished the doc came in to talk to us and explain again what she was going to do and we got to talking , then we all prayed. I was amazed, I have never been with a doc who prayed with you.
Will I have alot to get caught up on so I will post more of my adventures later.
Have a Blessed Day!

This week has been very busy for us. We are really enjoying Miss Maggie's Old Fashioned Education Curriculum. Jr. is buzzing right along in his school work he loves doing his school work. He is learning Hebrew, that is the only language I could get him interested in, we found it by accident it is by the Bi lingual Baby and is for kids ages 1 - 5 and he loves it!
My girls are learning Spanish(2 days a week) french 2 days a week , sign language and we do Latin everyday with our grammar. The girls really struggle with Latin, but they won't give up:)

Bee Holy! Bee Healthy! Bee Happy!
Bee Holy! Bee Happy! Bee Healthy! is a wellness program that we are doing at our church, it is fun, it is not a diet. We have two teams. We get points for getting our blood pressure took once a week, excercise thirty minutes a day, reading our bible daily and then a weekly challenge . It has been fun we are in our third week. My blood pressure has gotten lower. I feel better too. We weighed ourself at the beginning and we will weigh again at the end.
Ever wonder about the abbreviation A.S.A.P.?
Generally we think of it in terms of even more Hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we think of this Abbreviation in a different manner, we will begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days along the way.
There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
ASAP =ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
In the midst of family chaos,
"Quality time" is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-
ASAP=ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather-
ASAP=ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER
God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares,
And He'll respond to all your needs
A.S.A.P.=ALWAYS SAY A
PRAYER.
My instructions were to send this to four people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. Please pass this to four people you want to be blessed.
This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached, please do not break this pattern; prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards, let's continue to pray for one another.
Have a wonderful day & let us love one another!
In the tiny petal of a tiny flower
that grew from a tiny pod,
Is the miracle and the mystery
Of all creation and God!

God does answer Prayer
Wednesday we got the answer to one of our prayers! We have transportation! God answered our prayer through our new friends and brought us a mini van. Yes a mini van , seats 7, which is exactly how many is in our family. How awesome is that? My family has been depending on a car that is not able to go over 20 miles per hour. My family has been Blessed by God, it is so awesome I had to share it. Thank you Dear Lord for always providing our needs and for loving me ! AMEN
Thank you to our FREINDS for sharing your Blessings !

wow it has been awhile!
I have been so busy, I didn't realize it has been this long. I have been trying to get everything back on trackfrom our move.I didn't realize we would be so off track for so long. I am glad we moved though. Will I am really tired I was up late last night with a couple of sick ones so I am going to get some sleep.I will post more later, I have a lot to share.
DO you ever get asked "How can you afford to homeschool all of your children?"
I get that question a lot , or I will get some (mostly family members) saying will you would be able to afford this ir that if you didn't spend all your money on homeschooling. I don't know where they get the idea that I spend a fortune on homeschooling because I don't. The most money I spend on Homeschooling is for supplies like glue scissors crayons paper pencils etc which is supplies I would have to buy if they were in public school any way.
There are a lot of resources out there to help with homeschooling so you do not have to spend a fortune on homeschooling. I have found them, see my husband is disabled ,we almost lost him this year do to the doctors over medicating him, so we have ben on a pretty tight budget. I am not asking for anyone to feel sorry for us, I want to help others who do not have a lot of money that want to homeschool to do so with out being worried about money. I

Have you taken time to count your blessings?
Today is one of those catch up on all the things we are behind on. The children are doing really good in their studies this year, I think our move was a positive one.
My week has been full of Blessings, it is funny how we miss the Blessings the Lord gives us everyday. That is one thing I have learned over all of the trials I have faced this year , is to slow down and enjoy all of the blessings our wonderful Lord has given me. Count your many Blessings name them one by one,
Some of my blessings:
my husband is still with me (he almost died)
my children
I have a home to shelter me from the weather
my 5 year old asked Jesus into his heart this week during our family devotion
a wonderful church family
These are only a few of my Blessings from our wonerful awesome God,
how about you have you taken the time to enjoy your blessings?

The Praying hands

THE PRAYING HANDS
The Praying Hands are much, much more
than just a work of art,
They are the "soul's creation"
of a deeply thankful heart -
They are a priceless masterpiece
that love alone could paint,
And they reveal the selflessness
of an unheralded saint -
These hands so scarred and toilworn,
tell the story of a man
Who sacrificed his talent
in accordance with God's plan -
For in God's plan are many things
man cannot understand,
But we must trust God's judgement
and be guided by His hand -
Sometimes He asks us to give up
our dreams of happiness,
Sometimes we must forego our hopes
of fortune and success -
Not all of us can triumph
or rise to heights of fame
And many times what should be ours,
goes to another name -
But he who makes a sacrifice,
so another may succeed,
Is indeed a true disciple
of our blessed saviour's creed -
For when we give ourselves away
in sacrifice and love,
We are laying up rich treasures
in God's kingdom up above -
And hidden in gnarled, toilworn hands
is the truest art of living,
Achieved alone by those who've learned
the victory of giving -
For any sacrifice on earth,
made in the dear Lord's name,
Assures the giver of a place
in heaven's hall of fame -
And who can say with certainty
Where the greatest talent lies,
Or who will be the greatest
In our heavenly father's eyes!
