Thank you moms4psalms for the encouraging note reminding me about my blog. I have been so occupied with getting ready for a baby that is due in less than 3 weeks and getting ready for Christmas that I completely forgot I had started this blog. I am very surprised that anyone even noticed.

Heide is our 13 year old daughter. She is growing to be a fine young lady. She has recently become very interested in clothes and I am so happy that she is making the correct choices without any battles. She is a very sensible girl and has always reminded me of Anne in Anne of Green Gables. Heide tends to talk a little like Anne does, even before she ever read the books.

Joseph, our first son, is 11. He is a terrific boy who spent his early years playing dolls with his sisters. He loves to play games, especially risk. Joseph was an early reader and his book of choice was the encyclopedia. It was a couple years ago that I discovered his fascination with the military. He knew every rank for every branch of the Armed Services. I asked him where he learned these....the encyclopedia. I will say my first thought was to get rid of the encyclopedias!!! I didn't do that, and I have gotten used to the idea and actually am quite proud of him. His favorite books to read are books about war.

Oh my, must looked at the clock. I really must go. At this rate it will be January before I tell you about all of our children. :)

Hi,

It's nice to "meet" you and some of your children. I have 9 children too, and because I don't write daily, it took me a few weeks to introduce ALL of them too. :-)

Wow! Thanks for sharing this. What a fun peek at your love for your children!

Our elders visited last week and reminded me that my primary responsibility at this time in my life is to minister to my children and that must take precedence even over ministering to my neighbors, my friends, (and I'm sure that would include over spending time on the blogging community as well). :o)

So I hope you can find time to blog . . . I believe I could learn so much from you. But you are daily doing much more important things! :o)
