Homeschooling a Houseful

Scrapbooking

Yesterday was going to be a day where I tried to get life back to some sort of normal routine.  Didn’t work out that way.  I start to have withdrawals if I don’t get to scrapbook at least once a week and it has been more than a week.  Wednesdays mail brought over 200 photos of Hilarie. The pictures were just calling out to me…they needed to get on album pages…so knowing where my priorities are I decided that it would be a good day for the children to play with play-doh and for me to scrapbook.  I got 4 pages done and the next 2 are almost done.  The first 2 pages are titled…waiting for labor.

The next two pages are titled Labor of Love and have photos of my laboring and then the photo of Hilarie just born and another of my husband smiling from ear to ear.  He had just caught Hilarie and I think he was feeling quite proud.

Both these pages are done in neutral colors one in green the next in orange because we didn’t know what the baby was yet.

Then the next set of pages…a pink border that says It’s a Girl and photos of the first few moments.  I am hoping to finish this page today along with getting the calendar pages started for Hilarie’s album.

The children loved playing with play-doh and then after lunch they spent some time outside because as they said, it is hot outside.  Yep, a whopping 45 degrees.

Well, that is all I have time for now.  I am going to really try to do better about posting in my blog and responding to comments, which I haven’t done at all yet.  I don’t know all the blog etiquette yet, but I am willing to learn.

Ok I am such a slacker mom. I just started scrapping about 6 months ago, but I did have baby books. My oldest has a book that is packed, but our youngest has a baby book that still ahs teh wrapping on it. Eeeeek! I am in awe of your ability to even find time to scrap weekly with 10 kids. God Bless you!
