Sorry to any of you out there who actually read this thing.  I have been the absentee blogger, although I've been checking in with my friends on occassion.  I have been vegging on the couch or hanging over the toilet for the last 6 weeks or so.  When I'm not feeling great, I tend to lose interest in just about everything.  The good new is that I'm having some windows of near normalcy again, so I'm hoping the worst is over.  I even cooked dinner the other night...well, if you can call rice-a-roni, chicken tenders and peas from the freezer section "cooking".  Hey, it's better than take-out!  I haven't gotten so many rave reviews from my family over a meal in a very long time!

I have an ultrasound tomorrow to check dates (or rule out twins as my oh-so-amusing husband is fond of teasing me about!).  I doubt that they will miraculously say I'm much farther along than I think I am, like they did with my cyber-friend Dondi, (I'm not jealous, I am not jealous, Really, I'm not:) but it would be nice to move my due date into May vs. June2.  We have no family or extended family birthdays in May, so that would be nice.  Who am I kidding?  I always go way overdue, so it doesn't really matter what they tell me tomorrow as long as everything is ok.

I would tie this all into some neat little spiritual package, except I'm about as spiritual as a toad right now. 

Oh, here's something new:  We got a puppy and there is a Madagascar hissing cockroach loose in my house somewhere.  More on that saga later!
