Yesterday was the first day of Spring, but around here, winter does not want to leave. We're under a winter storm warning...

Lucy loves taking pictures with the camera. Today she caught a squirrel coming onto the front porch for a visit.

Umm...hello?

Miss, do ya have any peanuts?

Aw, there's gotta be something here to eat.
We're so proud of Liam's military service that we ordered a couple Tshirts to show off our pride. I got one for myself and one for the children to share. The children's shirt should take on a few miles because I bought a children's large. It will fit Luke pretty well, but it's quite large on the toddlers. Anyway, we're excited about our new tops.

We were working on a project that required a photo of Daddy with each child. These are priceless.

I've got cabin fever real bad. I always do this time of year. I'm itching for Spring and getting us all back out in the fresh air. I even bought some bright, Springy, silk flowers for the basket on the front of the house. I popped them in on Monday hoping to entice Spring our way. And what do you know but Tuesday brought rain and melted all our snow. We were even developing a "lake" on the front lawn like we do every Spring. I was excited.
Unfortunately, we woke up Wednesday morning to 8-12 inches of snow (depending on where you were standing). We made the best of it and spent some time playing in the backyard.

Luke fell in the snow near the garage.

Lucy lookin' like an eskimo.

Leif in the castle. Yes, that's him in a pink hat. He insisted.

Levi eating snow. Really, did you expect anything else?

Lily on the swingset. She actually got stuck in the swing. We had to take off her boots to get her out.

Leah and Momma. Ain't she a perty baby!

Once a week we try to have family night where we set aside everything else and do something together. Tonight we attempted a 500-piece puzzle. Tee hee hee. You can guess that didn't go well. The toddlers quickly lost interest and the olders were quite overwhelmed. We ended up swapping it for a 100-piecer.

Here she is again, as cute as she can be.

One of her favorite toys.

I think she's singing!
Our children love to dress up. Who needs Halloween when you can wear costumes all year round. The more creative, the better!

Leif and Levi are best buds, cowboy style.

I'm so proud of my DH! He's so handsome.
