My  friend, Lori ( http://lori.scottdomain.com/ ), had a link to this site on her blog.  I liked it very much and wanted to share it with you.  http://www.xanga.com/Mrscatherine

I have family visiting; my father-in-law and one of his friends.  Honey, Dad, and M., "The Men", as the Lambies are referring to them,  have been hunting and fishing all weekend long!  Monday will certainly be a "sleeping-in" day for My Honey.  I think he has gotten 4 or 5 hours of sleep in the last three days!

I am making my Lambies pajamas.  Yesterday, I cut the pattern out, today, the children decieded (by themselves) that I would make the jamies in "oldest to youngest" order.  I'm glad they worked that out amongst themselves.  How do you other mothers of larger familes work that sort of issue out?  Rock, Paper, Scissors works for many things; we roll dice on occasion, saying "high (or low) dice wins; and youngest or oldest first, down the line works, too.  Anyone with ideas...please share!

DDE (aged 10), made the tags for her jamie top and bottom all by herself, and we got the shorts finished up to the casing.  Tomorrow, after church, we may work on them a little more.  It depends when "The Men" come home!  We can only work while BabyJ sleeps, so we have limited time...She wanted the jamies in size 12 so they would fit for a long time and not be too tight.  She wears a 10/12 in newly bought store clothes.  The shorts look like they would fit ME at the moment!  I know they will fit, I control the elastic!!!  They may just look a little funny for a while!  At the rate she's growing, though, they won't be big for long!

Hope your long weekend is going well!

Momma

It seems like when I sew that the patterns always run a bit big too. Oh wells. You know if you sew it that you become attached and want them to wear it as long as possible anyhow.

Hi Momma, Thank you so much for providing a link to my site. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.....do you mind editing and using http://lori.scottdomain.com ? For some reason, it doesn't work with the www. in front of it ;) Or you can just type in lori.scottdomain.com and it will work :)

Fishing sounds like fun! I hope that your honey returned home safely tonight.

Sewing....I generally am not sewing something for all of the children at the same time, but I think that alternating between oldest-youngest and youngest-oldest would work well.

Have a blessed week! And we'd love to have you guys over sometime soon to visit....give me a call to set up a date :)

Only one child for me. LOL so here is my idea. Good time for the boys to practice good manners and let ladies go first. This is something we work with often with DS. I love the rock paper scissors.

If it is a big something. You could put names in a hat or the like and "draw lots"

Glad "Honey" got in some man time. Who needs sleep when you can be doing such manly stuff like fishing and hunting.
