I have been planning to share this a long time, but finally got around to taking the pictures!
I learned to cross-stitch as a senior in high school. My mother's friend Juanita taught me. I will always be thankful to her for taking the time to teach me, along with everything else she did for me! She was like a mother to me that year.
I began with a small kit of ribbons and flowers. I moved on to bigger pictures and even the "Footprints" poem. It still hangs in our bathroom.
This is my latest picture. It has recently come back from framing. Can you guess what it is of?

Here's another clue (slightly blurry, sorry!):

And finally, the entire thing:

It's called "Mates". We have decorated our living room with a cabin-y feeling, featuring all my wildlife cross-stitching. I have done eagles and tigers as well.
I will share pictures of some of the others in a later post. I can't wait to share the one I am working on now...It's called "Innocence" and is one of the lovliest things I have ever seen! I've been working on it for over a year already, and have passed the halfway point! WOO HOO!
Blessings,
