• Jul. 17, 2007 - We Started School!
This is our first week of school! To celebrate, I will rename most of the children for this blog.
You already know EmBlem. She is 11, in 6th grade (already?) and blogs weekly at the Backyard! She is our entamologist, an artist and my right arm!
GirlofGod is my second eldest. She will be 10 in a few days and is in the 5th grade this year! She's my lovely girlygirl, who is as tough as they come, too!
BlackSpidey is the name chosen by my eldest son. He's 9, in the fourth grade and a true blessing. He likes working with any kind of tool and helping out Dad. He also enjoys guns and knives, swimming, video games and the like.
Trixy is 8 and in the third grade. She is the clown of our family and is sure to have a smile on her face. She is a happy learner and a joy to be with!
Polly is nearly 6, in the first grade and is one who can be counted on to do any job that needs doing! She's a willing worker and loves to have fun, too! You'll find her wrestling and playing with her little brother "Jack" or swimming, without floaties, I might add!
Miss Banana is 5 and is my little beauty. She has the thickest hair and likes to have it played with! She is developmentally delayed, but is learning fast! She is enjoying the Ready-Writer papers I made for her, and doing a great job learning to hold a pencil! She is also learning to swim!
Jack (Captain Jack Sparrow) is also 5, twin with Miss Banana, and is a little ball of energy! He is always on the move and loves to chatter! He is beginning kindergarten and is looking forward to really knowing how to read! He swims and dives like a fish, too!
BabyJ will remain BabyJ, as he is still my baby! He may be 2 years old and never still; he may beg to be read to and be prone to screaming when he doesn't get his way, but he's still my baby! He may sneak candy and love pizza, but he's still a baby! I think he'll always be a baby to me!
I'll share how school went in my next post!
