• Nov. 1, 2007 - Monday 's Storm
We had quite a storm here on Monday evening. Our area is not known for weather, besides hot, hot, hot, fog, fog, fog but Monday we got a wonderfully strong thunderstorm. The winds whipped up, the rain started and continued...hard..., there was hail, cloud to cloud lightening, and did I say WIND?
We lost a tree. It landed on my Honey's beloved Jeep.
We weren't able to get it off until Tuesday afternoon, and found there was very little damage to the Jeep. The Lambies are having a wonderful time climbing in and cutting up the tree.
 They even ate dinner Tuesday evening perched amongst the branches. I had been out supervising and assisting with the trees dissection and EmBlem made beans and cheese burritos all by herself. She wrapped them up and served them out and everything. What a helper she is!
 Our street flooded with all the rain, coving the street entirely and coming all the way into our yard. The Lambies were astounded. The wind also destroyed the cover of our boat garage. It ripped and slipped over the sides of the structure like a too-big skirt around the ankles of a toddler. We'll have to figure out where to get another soon. Don't want the boat exposed to the elements all winter!
Today is cool and foggy, and we are getting ready to snuggle down into winter!
