Here's a peek into how things sometimes go in our home.
I went to The Common Room and found great this entry by JennyAnyDots. I watched the very funny videos with the Lambies. After viewing the parody of "Ticket To Ride", the Lambies wanted to watch the real Beatles perform it, so we did. As we listened, this is what was said:
EmBlem: "Who's alive, Mom?"
Momma: "Two are alive and two have passed away."
GirlofGod: "Who had a wife?" (mis-hearing who's alive)
Momma: "They were all married, as far as I know."
Polly: "They were all married?! GROSS! That's a sin"
Whew....it's a wonder anyone learns anything sometimes!
Thanks for my laugh-out-loud moment of the day! Hey, the Beatles did some weird things (it was the 60s, after all), but they weren't THAT weird! (Mom2fur here!)
Oh my gosh!!! That was hilarious.....kinda what it's getting to be like at my house with a husband that is getting hard of hearing...or better at selective listening....
I know you flake your wheat and such. My friend just bought some already flaked wheat at a health store. She showed it to me and it seemed like it was very "brittle". Is that what the end product is when you flake wheat? I don't think rolled oats are that brittle. These seem like they are very crumbly. Or is it that they are "processed" and the texture is gone?
I'm the blessed wife of My Honey of 14 years, and Momma to eight wonderful Lambies aged 13 and under. We live in Central CA, and use Ambleside Online for our curriculum. I'd love to meet you , so browse a while and feel free to leave a comment!
