This is an aweseome place to stick a list. I "stickied" mine by post dating it... so every time I find a book -- I come here quick to my blog, and there is my list... right on top.

Very clever you... =)

you've got a great list going... sounds like a fun school year to me.

No. I do not have any pictures of those "delightful" spider cupcakes we had at NancyDrews birthday party last year. :-(

Have you enjoyed math-u-see? We're looking at using that for our curriculum but I don't know anyone who is currently using the program. Any advice for us?

Thanks for the comment. I will definitely look at that curriculum. It is soooo hard to not buy every curriculum and do some book learning. I'm trying so hard to be patient. : ) But my daughter keeps trying to read books to herself and then throwing them at me saying, "But mommy I can't read!" So I try to keep us both satisifed by reading to her and doing lots of messy art projects and cooking.
We're going to our state homeschool convention so I'm hoping I can just look at curriculum to get ideas and hopefully that will keep me satisfied for a while.
I will try to post pics on my blog-as soon as I figure out how to do that. I really wasn't kidding when I said I was not a computer person.

What made you decide to do 3.5? I'm thinking that we will as well because of DS's delayed independent reading and it is strongly suggested for them to be able to read most of their own reads by Y4.

I am very much looking forward to next year. Our first year with AO went very well. We've already started on Y2's free reads. We're reading Farmer Boy and enjoying it. WE will also be doing Little House on the Prarie very soon. It was on CD at the library so it is next to listen to in the car.

Do you like the Apologia science? We were thinking about using it. I've heard so many good things about it. It looks like so much fun and I love the Biblical perspective woven through all the books.
