livin' it up at home

• Dec. 24, 2006 - Christmas Eve Gift

Eleven years ago today a child was born to a woman half way around the world. Eleven years ago today the decision was finalized to give this baby life, in a country were human life is not always viewed as precious.  For these eleven years I have prayed for the woman I will never know, this side of heaven. For eleven years I have prayed for her salvation so that I  may have the chance to thank her for the precious gift she carried for 9 months, the gift I now call my own.  Eleven years ago today God put into action a wonderful plan for our family as our first born daughter took her first breath in the land of the rising sun. I am sure as people awoke that Christmas Eve morning they had no idea the part they would play in helping to bring God's plan to a conclusion. Bless them, Lord. From the postal carrier delivering paperwork to the notaries who notarized that paper work, to the nameless woman in China remembering the baby she gave life to eleven years ago today, bless them this day, the day of our daughter's birth.  Happy birthday Fu, Rongping, we love you with all our hearts.

What a special tribute to your daughter. Brought tears to my eyes. I can't imagine how difficult it must be not to even know the name of her birthmother. We have a name and picture, and we actually now have contact with Marissa's birthmother. I completely understand the prayers for their salvation. I have been praying for that since before the girls were born, and now we pray it together. Thank you for sharing.

P.S. I enjoyed seeing all the Christmas prep pictures.

I might be able to type decently if I could see through the tears! Your daughter is a beautiful blessing.

I hope your new year is filled with peace and happiness. Abiding in the Vine!

I'd be happy to help you with your blog! I'm not really for "hire" as I do this on 'Donation' only.

On my personal blog -- TrainingHearts I have a list of graphic credits that you can look through to find what you would like. You can choose linkware which is usually free for a link and then some have chosen purchaseware which they buy. Once you have chosen your graphic...please upload to a photobucket (free) account and contact me again and I will get to work. Sometimes I have a few blogs in line, but usually I can get it done within a week.

BTW, your post was precious!!!! ~Tamara
