Re-righting

I love this term, "Re-righting"!  I just read a post on Copper's Wife and it totally fits what I am doing in our home and life right now.  For the past month now, I have been pulling in the reins and re-righting the things that have slipped, gone awry, been dropped, ignored, etc.  This means my priorities first and foremost.  Somehow the "other" resposibilities has gotten in ahead of my family and home again!  Also, my homeschool, house, etc.  Today I am tackling my office/homeschool room that has been the dumping ground for the past month.  I have been avoiding this room until the very end as I know it will take a full day of work to get it back in working order (not perfect, just working)...

It has been wonderful to be able to try new recipes, crochet two blankets (a first for me), use my Motivated Mom's planner, skip some rabbit shows, say no to some activities, have dinner with friends (long overdue) and take my kids ice skating this week!  I love it!!!!  My husband is very happy too!

I am looking forward to this week coming up, and my clean office!

We spent the whole day at home today and we just loved it! I'm glad you are saying 'no' to things. God doesn't want us out running around, He wants us to be home! Well, most of the time anyway!
