Does anyone know the date today? October 5th. That means it has technically been autumn for about two weeks now. The weather would suggest otherwise.For those who don't know, I live in the upper midwest...by this time of year, it is getting considerably cooler...an anticipated welcome to the hot, humid, summer heat. I love autumn...it is my favorite time of year. For so many reasons...the colors, the smells, the sounds...but mostly for the blessed cooler weather.
As I said, today is October 5th. OCTOBER 5th! The tenth month of the year. The temperature outside is 84. Add in a humidity of 58%, and a dew point of 68, and it feels like 87 degrees outside. The actual temp is supposed to reach the 90 degree mark today, and remain there for the next three days. 90 degrees. In October. In the upper midwest.
Would someone please inform Autumn that she is late for work?
