Camper!!!

We did it!! We bought a camper! It is a 1999 Coleman Santa Fe pop-up. It is in good condition for its age but even better, the price was in the low range of what we were hoping to pay!! It has a double and king bed along with the table turning into a bed. There is 2 stoves, one inside and one outside, and also a potty that we can use in emergencies or middle of the night.

The Lord just blessed us in this as Dh had already said he would stay home Thursday morning with sick baby so I could go take a class at the Y. That morning, I got an e-mail from the local newspaper stating that an ad for a pop-up had been placed in the classifieds. DH called right away (8:30 a.m.) and it turns out the people lived about 15 minutes south of us. He went to check it out and gave them a check. The owner wanted to finish fixing a few things so we went to pick it up Friday morning.

We have it set up in our driveway right now to give it a good airing and some cleaning. I went through our camping supplies to see what I have, what we can get rid of and what we still need before our big trip! I have some shopping to do so I pray I can find really good deals. I am ready to go camping now but since we only have 2 weekends before we leave I don't think that will happen.

So have your children asked to sleep in it at night? I remember sleeping in our driveway as a child in our little camper. It was almost as fun as camping! You are going to have lots of good times in this one!

I would love to have a pop-up! One day.....
It looks like it is in great shape. Very nice! Enjoy it!! If you ever come to Georgia, you'll have to drop by!

But if there is no tent, it is not camping. We all need to plan a big camping trip, Steve has the big monster, I will probably be the only the one in the tent

the camper is fantastic! i wish you all lived near us so we could camp together. (we like to rough it tho- tents all the way! lol)

HOW EXCITING!!! We bought a used pop up last fall and haven't used it yet. BUT, we are planning a trip in September and I can't wait!! You must be so excited!!
