or sign of a tropical system? We haven't seen much of the sun so far this week. Yesterday morning, we were woke early to heavy rain. That is a big rarity to have rain first thing in the morning here in FL. Our rain usually comes in the afternoon after the heat builds up. It was a nice thing to hear upon waking.When checking our rain gauge, we had already received 1.5 inches! We ended up getting another inch through the day. Of course, other areas of the city had 5 to 8 inches causing many driving problems. We had a break today but the rain is due to return tomorrow as a low moves across the state and possibly turns tropical. The winds have been nice today also although we lost our electricity for about 45 minutes.
We are heading out for the farmers market with another family tomorrow so hopefully we will miss the rain by going early. We are going to run some other errands and then head to our friend's house for a shared lunch and visit. Hope you have a great rest of the week.
