Reformed and Single?

Posted in Books

"Getting Serious About Getting Married" by Debbie Maken is worth reading whether you are married or single.   Maken forcefully states that being single is not the "gift" so many in the church claim it to be and that Christians--particularly Christian males--need to get serious and GET MARRIED!  She recommends parental involvement as well as matchmaking services in seeking a mate and encourages women with advice they may not have heard before.

And finally there is a Reformed online matchmaking service . . . If you are Reformed and single (or know someone who is  . . . then have them) check out www.sovereigngracesingles.com

that is interesting - I will have to send that site to some friends who are still living at home under their covenant heads. kinda hard to meet guys if there are no reformed churches in an area!

About Me

My faith teaches me that the calling of Christian homemaker, wife, or mother is just as holy as one to "full-time ministry." I am a mom of seven children ages eight and under seeking and sharing helpful tidbits learned during this season of life. May we glorify and enjoy Him each day! :o), Moms4Psalms
