Church Hunting: Worship and Nursery
We are moved into our new house and the hunt is on for our new church home. We actually picked our house based on close proximity to a good Reformed and Presbyterian church, but the city has many good Reformed churches so now we have to find the best one for our family.
We desire for our children to be in the worship service with us, that we may worship as a family and that we may train the children to worship from an early age. So we are looking for a church that encourages children of all ages to be in the worship service. BUT . . . we have discovered over the years that our family also needs a nursery for our youngest--right now that means for the two year old and seven month old.
Without others' help with our youngest children, our family is not able to corporately worship God each Lord's Day. I now understand how volunteering to assist in the church nursery is a ministry and blessing to many mothers who otherwise would not be able to corporately worship God. Our family has been especially blessed by such help.

About Me
My faith teaches me that the calling of Christian homemaker, wife, or mother is just as holy as one to "full-time ministry."
I am a mom of seven children ages nine and under (plus one on the way!) seeking and sharing helpful tidbits learned during this season of life. May we glorify and enjoy Him each day!
